The process is as follows, they are fed through our shredder which is capable of shredding 25 x drives per MINUTE ( unlike some of our competitor shredders which will shred 1 drive in 4 minutes) Hard Drive disposal. We are left with a product which is 100 % recyclable so there is 0% landfill. Our hard drive shredder is portable so we can either run this from our vehicle or from your premises. Our hard drive destruction is a green process, We have shred and recycled well over 250000 hard drives over the last 8 years and we know from experience how conscious some of our customers are about hard drive disposal... Some of our customers have tried to :- Wipe the drives in house, using software, Drill though the drives into the platters then dispose of the drive in local civic amenity sites, Use sledge hammers to penetrate through the casing, to no avail, Use a blowtorch to scorch the drives. All of this is never going to be as secure as the complete hard drive destruction by hard drive shredding on your site in front of your own eyes, when we arrive on site we will scan all hard drives serial numbers this listing will then be email or printed off for you on completion of your hard drive disposal.
